Well the light is hung. The light arrived fast (2 days earky) and was exactly as described. The mounting plate IS FLIMSY for this style of light BUT if you know that add more screws to the holes labeled on ends of bracket as well as the mechanical screws your used to attach to electrical box. I used heavy duty wall anchors that screw in and then screwed the screw that came with anchors through the bracket. No issues. The light looks great and I added a dimmer for options for lighting. A+

I love the look of this and the quality of the material is good. Note - this fixture is heavy and will require you installing two additional anchors into your ceiling. That means drilling two holes in your ceiling, but the anchors were provided. You’ll probably want an extra hand when installing also. If you have a short ceiling height you’ll have to shorten the wiring as well. Just some things to consider. I really like the fixture though.

I posted two photos one with the light on and one with it off. I have 3 Edison's in the fixture which provides a very warm light...perfect for relaxing. The light fixture came well packaged, with all of the parts and instructions included. The installation was straight forward. The weight was a little surprising. I kind of expected a faux pulley system , however the pulleys are fully functional which makes the height adjustment extremely easy. There are other light fixtures that look similar to this one, but for way more money... I can't imagine there would be much of a quality difference between this one and a most pricey one like it. This is by far one of the best purchases I've made.

This is a very nice light, a few exceptions though, most kitchen ceilings aren’t as high as this light is wired for, the counterweight hangs in the way of where you want your light unless you adjust and shorten the wiring before hanging it, also don’t waste your money on the light bulbs they advertise because they are way to dark and you’ll realize you’ve wasted your money, the lightbulbs I bought are Ecosmart 100watt LED the energy usage is equivalent of a 15watt Incandescent lightbulb, I attached a picture of the lightbulbs I bought

We love our new light fixture over our breakfast nook! Great look for right price. Prior reviews mentioned the flimsy mounting plate....we put a couple of additional screws through it for reinforcement. Worked like a charm! Looks like a high end fixture for just over $100!
